Breaking news! Water filling station bill clears another step!

Good news out of Annapolis!

The bill to support water filling stations in all new construction has passed the Environment and Technology committee and now moves to the House floor for consideration! This means we are another step closer to folks across the state having better access to water throughout their day!

Legislation (House Bill 277 and Senate Bill 96) are pieces of legislation that would improve access to water by requiring water filling stations in building plans for major reconstruction or new buildings. This will benefit everyone, especially our school children. Drinking water can positively impact a child’s memory and overall learning helping us grow a generation of healthier kids.
